What do you do when you have so much money in your pocket? Perhaps you buy a NFL club, and, if you’re still not satisfied, you buy a Premier League club. This is what American tycoon Shahid Khan did.
However, he was not still satisfied with that, and decided to challenge legendary WWE owner Vince McMahon. Now Shahid and his Son Tony Khan are working to prop up a new professional wrestling platform called AEW.
They are already in talk with many WWE superstars like legendary Chris Jericho to begin the journey of the new professional franchise with big promises. This is indeed a respite for some professional wrestling fans, since in the recent years WWE has failed to fulfill fan expectations.
The billionaire owner of Jacksonville Jaguars and Fulham F.C. has assigned his son Tony Khan to direct the new mission aimed at outmatching WWE, the two decade old professional wrestling franchise which once enjoyed unchallenged superiority.
FYI, Shahid Khan is worth $6.9 billion while his WWE counterpart’s net worth is $3.2 billion.
